For watersports activities, all participants should bring a complete change of clothes, including spare shoes (trainers or similar). On warm summer days shorts and t shirts are fine. One colder days you will need warm tracksuit bottoms and fleeces. Please don’t wear jeans, bulky trainers or loose sandals. For sailing or powerboat courses, please make sure you have enough warm clothing with you, it does get cold out on the river, especially in the evenings. A peaked hat and sunglasses are also a good idea to cut the glare from the water on bright days.

For climbing or high ropes activities participants should wear loose comfortable clothing, suitable for wearing with a climbing harness. Please don’t wear jeans, tight trousers or skirts. The high ropes course is close to the river and is quite exposed to the wind, so please bring a warm jumper and a waterproof jacket if you have one.

There are showers onsite, so bring a towel and wash gear.

Lockers are available for personal belongings, they take a 20p piece, non returnable. Please don’t leave any personal belongings in the changing rooms or in unlocked lockers.

All specialist equipment is provided: e.g. – buoyancy aids, waterproof cags and salopettes, climbing harnesses and helmets.
